Are you reading this on a mobile device? If not how far away is your device? How long has it been since you last used it, last touched it? Minutes, seconds, come on... be honest. If you are lovingly caressing your phone right now, or you suffer from phantom vibration syndrome, don’t be ashamed – you're not alone.
Faster than any other technology, mobile has fundamentally transformed how we function as individuals and interact as a society. Almost anything you want is now accessible via your mobile device. As Forrester researchers noted, “Whatever the question, the answer is on the phone” and that mentality has created a Pavlovian response coined “The Mobile Mind Shift”.
Terms like mobile first, mobile mind and mobile moment attempt to help us understand and capitalize on this cultural shift in customer’s attention. There is significant opportunity and advantage for marketers who embrace and understand this evolution. Join us July 16th at the Minneapolis Central Library as mobile marketing pioneer Hugh Park Jedwill explores the concept of the mobile mind and how understanding the related behaviors allows you to transform how your business and engage today's mobile consumer.
