Increased cognitive development, improved hand-eye coordination and massive Mountain Dew addictions are just some of the “benefits” that video game developers offer today’s gamers. Gamer stereotypes aside, the video game industry generates over $25 billion in revenue every year and creates engaging and immersive customer experiences today’s marketer can only dream of. So what can we as marketers learn from this innovative industry?

One thing the most successful game developers know is having real-time access to the right data lets you turn on a dime and capture opportunities you might otherwise miss. Raw data and numbers are a good place to start but data visualization can be a great way to drive numbers home and give them a visual weight mere statistics don't have.

Join us September 17 as Zane Mumford, Global Service Manager for Worldwide Studios IT at Playstation discusses how PlayStation uses data visualization tools to analyze gameplay metrics, reduce development costs, and increase the speed of decision-making, allowing the team to rapidly answer questions they could never even ask before. You’ll see some of PlayStation’s data visualizations and learn best practices for using data visualization to have a tremendous impact on an organization of any size and from any industry.

Appetizers will be served and a cash bar will be available. Sorry though, this event is BYOMD.
